The Tenet Emergency Preparedness Program (EPP) is a comprehensive offering to help organizations prepare for and respond to emergencies, by combining the real-life emergency management expertise of AMI Business Resilience Inc. and award-winning mobile technology from Tenet Computer Group Inc.
Whether it’s a man-made or a natural event that causes physical damage or impacts your corporate reputation, an incident must be managed efficiently and effectively. Our Preparedness Program provides an all-inclusive, all-hazards approach to allow for a rapid, coordinated and effective response.
EPP incorporates customized plans for Crisis Management, Emergency Response, notification and communications, and uses Tenet’s proven mobile technology to make them available on BlackBerry smartphones, even when critical corporate or community infrastructure have been affected.
Our team has a proven track record of building integrated processes and systems that provide stakeholders, Senior Management and Executives with the appropriate situational awareness, coordinated plans and three tier checklists. Our program provides for the escalation of incidents from a Level 1 to a Level 3, based on defined and quantifiable parameters.
The team leverages AMI’s extensive experience and expertise in emergency preparedness and response to ensure clients have actionable plans and trained staff. Through one-on-one consultations, the team develops customized toolkits that enable organizations to prepare with considerable ease in a short period of time and at minimal cost. The program also offers ongoing training, periodic plan reviews and updates, as well as coached table-top exercises.
Tenet’s technology includes its award-winning PINpoint for BlackBerry® software, an application that facilitates cooperation and coordination during emergencies, by ensuring that users always have up-to-date information stored in their BlackBerry smartphones, including critical documents and contact lists. PINpoint has been successfully evaluated under FEMA’s National Incident Management System - Supporting Technologies Evaluation Program (NIMS STEP) and is in use at corporations and government organizations around the world.
In addition, the offering also includes infrastructure maintenance, 24-7 availability monitoring, and cloud-based information services, such as a centralized repository of community contacts, newsfeed aggregation, emergency plan hosting, and real-time location-aware data collection and reporting.
